Club Executive Chairman Mehmet Dalman has recognised the key role of Cardiff City Supporters’ Trust – describing it as long overdue – in the club’s latest accounts.
In his report dated July 15, 2014, which formed page 2 of the statutory accounts, Mr Dalman stated:
“The board will continue to meet with the Supporters’ Trust prior to every board meeting. I personally welcome this new dialogue which we believe is well overdue.”
The Trust believes this is the way forward in building strong relationships between fans and the club’s board and is welcome. The Trust position’s remains that there should be an elected fan representative on the board as they are at clubs in Wales, England and Scotland.
