The Cardiff City Supporters Trust has congratulated the club on being named Family Club of the Year at last night’s 2011 Football League awards.
The face of Cardiff City has been really changed over recent years and it is great to know that more than 6,000 of our supporters now enjoy our games sitting in the Family Stand.
Trust Chair Tim Hartley said, “We really appreciate the hard work the club has put in to make Cardiff a truly family club. They went out and consulted parents and children to find out what they wanted. They then came up with a whole range of ideas to make match days extra special for families. The face painting, play stations, player visits and all the other activities have made Cardiff the most welcoming place for families to visit. To be recognised like this by the Football League is just fantastic. Many congratulations to Gethin and Julian Jenkins and their team. ”
