Three upcoming bands and singers will be showcased at a gig organised by Cardiff City Supporters’ Trust’s Community Group in February.

  • Howl Griff, who hail from West Wales. Their second album, The Hum, includes appropriately the catchy song Bluebirds. You can listen to it on their website

  • Barry-based rockers Brother Steve.

  • Folk singer Catrin O’Neill, originally from Aberdyfi and now living in the Vale of Glamorgan.

In addition, DJ PSI will provide music at the gig in the Duke of Clarence pub in Canton, Cardiff, on Friday, February 11, (from 8pm-11.30pm). Admission is just £3.

Iestyn Jones, who has put the line-up together, said: “This is a great chance to listen to some excellent music. If the gig is a success it will help secure future events with, hopefully, some Cardiff bands playing.”

Trust Board member Martin Bale said: “We’d like to thank the artists, DJ PSI, Iestyn and Adam Williams of Community Music Wales for providing their services free of charge.

“Music fans can be assured of a great night at a very affordable cost with all funds raised going towards future Trust community events.”
