Trust Backs Cardiff City Over Call For End To Anti-Social Behaviour

In a statement today, Keith Morgan, chair of Cardiff City Supporters’ Trust, said: “We fully support Cardiff City’s stand against the totally unacceptable, anti-social behaviour at Bristol City by a small minority of supporters whose actions were a stain on the club and all decent fans.

“The club has worked hard over the year to promote Cardiff as a family club and it is a shame that a few mindless idiots who went to the Bristol City have tarnished that reputation. We, like the club, expect those travelling to support the Bluebirds behave in a responsible and sensible manner while, of course, shouting and supporting the team.

“It is hugely unfortunate that because of the substantial cost of repairs to the toilets at Ashton Gate an additional charge of £1 will be added to ticket booking fees for those attending future away games.

“We earnestly hope there is no more vandalism and anti-social behaviour at future games and urges anyone that knows anything about the damage at Ashton Gate to report it to the appropriate authorities.”
