A race night held at the Ninian Park pub last night in aid of the Fred Keenor Statue Fund raised £240 for the appeal.
The appeal committee would like to thank those who braved the appalling weather to support the event at the iconic Cardiff City fans’ pub.
Appeal project manager David Craig said: “We’d like to particularly thank the owner of the Ninian Park pub Jon Bassett and the landlord Peter Warry for putting on this event for the appeal. It was a good fun night and everyone who turned up enjoyed it.
“We’re very grateful when City fans make the effort to organise their own fundraiser for the appeal.”
