KEENOR BUCKET COLLECTION RAISES £669

We are delighted to announce that the bucket collection in aid of the Fred Keenor Statue Appeal at the Parma game raised £669.55.

This is a great amount, particularly as the crowd was only just over 8,500.

Thanks to the 10 collectors that volunteered to help out and also to Cardiff City Football Club and its staff for their continuing support for the appeal. And, most importantly, thanks to the generosity of City fans, young and older.

HELP THE TRUST WHEN YOU SHOP ONLINE

Fans can help raise funds for the Trust by using a website linking into more than 2,000 of the UK’s biggest retailers such as Marks & Spencer, Amazon and John Lewis.

It won’t cost you a penny extra to shop via https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/good-causes/cardiffcityst/ but the Trust will receive up to 15 per cent from every online purchase made from the website.

Once you’re logged on you shop with the retailer directly and complete your transaction online.

John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Next, Amazon, Dell, Argus, WH Smith, HMV and National Express are among the big names you can link to from the website.

The site even has a special offers page which is regularly updated with new Internet-only discounts, special offers and even money saving eVouchers. There are hundreds of offers, many are exclusive to easyfundraising members, so you won’t even find them on the retailer’s own website or in-store.

And fans can even help earn the Trust cash simply by using https://cardiffcityst.easysearch.org.uk as their search engine rather Google or Yahoo. In other words, supporters don’t have to buy anything to earn the Trust money.

HELP THE KEENOR APPEAL: BUY A MINIATURE STATUE

We know it’s still the middle of the summer but we thought we’d offer a suggestion for that ideal Christmas gift for the dedicated Bluebirds fan – a statue miniature.

The miniatures, which stand 8ins tall and more than 10 inches on the plinth, have proved very popular. We have a limited number left.

They can be bought from the club shop and also by post for those living outside of South Wales using Paypal on the website of the artist Roger Andrews for £40 plus £5.50 postage at https://www.landmarks.co.uk/fredkeenor.htm

Further information can be obtained by emailing fundraising@ccfctrust.org. We also have Keenor statue pin badges – two designs are available – at £3 each from the club shop, the new Trust office at the stadium, which will open shortly, or by contacting the above email address.
