A curry night at the Cardiff City Stadium in aid of the Fred Keenor Statue Appeal is expected to have raised around £700 for the fund.
David Craig, project manager of the Fred Keenor Statue Fund Committee and Trust Board member, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who gave their support at what was an excellent night, particularly Dilwar Ali of the Nahin Spice Centre, who organised the event and put a lot of work into making it a success. We are also very grateful to Miguel Comminges who spent the night with us.”
