TRUST FIVE-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT

Many thanks to everyone who played yesterday at the Cardiff City Supporters’ Trust Community five-a-side tournament.

It was great that  teams from all over South Wales came together for the event. Trelewis Boys’ Club were worthy winners beating Tim’s Team, a side arranged by Trust chairman Tim Hartley, 3-1.

Tim Hartley said: “I’d like to thank Jo Borley and her staff at the House of Sport for making us welcome and to Keith Morgan from the Supporters’; Trust for organising the event.

“Well done to everyone for playing and see you next year.”

Andy Daniel, one of those who took part,

sent an e-mail to Tim Hartley. It read “Thanks Tim and to the rest of the CCST board for organising it. We really enjoyed the day, and were gutted to go out to you in the semi (our first defeat and the only two goals we conceded all competition). We’ll definitely be having another shot at it.”

We need your name, membership no or address and the player that you think has made the greatest contribution to the team in 2010/11. This may not be the highest goal scorer or the player who has made the most appearances etc. but is instead the player that you think has made the most impact or who has helped when the chips are down (even if we’ve lost).

The player with the greatest amount of votes will be given an award at the Player of the Year Evening on Saturday April 23rd as organised by the Cardiff City Supporters’ Club.

Thanks
