Richard Lewis

Who are you?  Richard Lewis

Where do you live?  Canton, Cardiff.

What do you do for a living?  Programme Manager / Practitioner, Public Health Wales.

Why did you join the Trust?  To support fund-raising for the statue of Fred Keenor; I raised some money by running the Berlin Marathon in 2010.

Why would you encourage fans to join the Trust?  To have the chance to put our views, comments and questions to the Club in a professional way.

Why did you seek election to the Trust Board?  To help the existing Board Members, including with Trust activities such as collecting oral histories.

What is your aim for the Trust over the next 12 months?  I am looking into options on how the Trust can help our supporters’ local communities whilst we deal with COVID-19. I would like to see more families joining the Trust, as I have two Junior Bluebirds at home, and I would also like to see the Club continue to improve its environmental sustainability credentials when fans return to the Cardiff City Stadium.

How long have you supported Cardiff City?  Since moving to Cardiff and listening on BBC Radio Wales to the Leeds giant-killing!  I have been a season-ticket holder for most campaigns since then.

What was your favourite City match?  Fulham away in 2013; Premier League, traditional ground, good company, my birthday, and Jordan Mutch’s late winner!

Who is your favourite City player?  Junior Hoilett in current squad; Robert Earnshaw all-time favourite (so far!).
