Where do you live?
What do you do for a living?
Now retired. I used to work in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Why did you join the Trust?
I joined the Trust in January 2009 as I wanted to support an organisation that had the interest of City fans at its heart.
Why would you encourage fans to join the Trust?
The Trust is their democratic organisation and they should be a part of it.
Why did you seek election to the Trust Board?
Since 2012 I have been joint membership secretary along with my friend Paul Evans. Mid 2015 I was co-opted onto the Trust Board. I felt I was making a worthwhile contribution so became an elected member at the AGM 2016.
What is your aim for the Trust over the next 12 months?
Membership. The more we are the greater we are. And it’s not just the numbers, but the involvement of members in the running of the Trust that I’d like to see improve.
Communication. Better and more of it to our members and fans generally, so that they feel engaged. Also to CCFC so that they appreciate who we are, what we are about and how we are different to the other fans’ organisations.
A Stronger Voice. Better marketing of the Trust and its goals and objectives. The stronger our voice the greater our influence.
How long have you supported Cardiff City?
I was introduced to Ninian Park in 1952 when my uncle started taking me to watch the Bluebirds. I remember leaving his home in Grangetown and walking to the ground. I can’t recall details of those early games, but do remember the big crowds and the tremendous atmosphere.
What was your favourite City match?
The FA Cup final 2008. The result wasn’t the best, but the day was just magic
